Our installation for 60 T EAF at Musco, handling a flow of 220,000 Am3/hr at 140 deg C and fitted with the first ever 7000 mm long bags in India is still a landmark installation in the Steel Industry. The filter at Jai Balaji Steel for a 80 T EAF, handling a flow of 280,000 Am3/hr at 120 deg C proved that Long Bag Technology (7000 mm long bag) was not a fluke for “Intelligent Air”. The filter at HZL Chanderiya handling a flow of 1,77,120 Am3/hr from zinc refining columns at 230 deg C continuous and fitted with fiber glass membrane bags, meets all expectations of a process bag house, as since it’s commissioning in 2008 not a single stoppage had occurred nor a single bag failed in a period of 5 years.

We can design bag filters to suit the dust and application, any kind of dust, we understand dust very well and for us it is just a question of providing the most cost-effective solution.
We at the same time have carried out many retrofit jobs, enhancing the filter performance in terms of bag life and emissions. In most of the cases, except for retaining the outer filter casing, entire filter internals including tube sheet, pulsing system, cleaning system, bags, cages, inlet duct have been replaced to make system perform.
A sinter plant bag filter handling 260,000 Am3/hr with a bag life of 4 months & emissions exceeding 300 mg/Nm3 was retrofitted by us in TOTO to deliver emissions <75 mg/Nm3 and bag life exceeding 3 years. A bag filter handling lead fumes & a flow of 45,000 Am3/hr attaining emissions more than 150 mg/Nm3 with bag life >6months was retrofitted to deliver guaranteed emissions below 10 mg/Nm3 & attained a bag life of 3 years.
We recently replaced a bag house at a Silver Refinery to deliver emissions >5 mg/Nm3 handling valuable silver dust, as the existing bag filter failed totally attaining high emissions in excess of 100 mg/Nm3. The list of system retrofits is equally long and successful for Intelligent Air.
